Annette Funicello did not only perform and sing, she also acted. She is best remembered as being one of Mickey Mouse Club's original Mouseketeers. As a teenager, she began her career in singing and became known for her smash hits "Tall Paul" as well as "Pineapple Princess.' Annette was a shy child who grew up in Utica with Italian immigrants. Since she wanted to pursue success in her career as an entertainer she began performing as well as dancing. In the mid-late 1950s, she became famous for appearing in several "Disneysketch shows.
